Position: Video Editor

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Answering about 5 inbound calls per day for Appointment Setting  (will be trained for this)

• Cutting and assembling raw footage into polished finished product

• Making recommendations for shooting scenes and videos

• Developing creative ideas and concepts

• Editing TikToks, Reels, Instagrams, and YouTube Videos with captions in English and Spanish

• Creating compelling stories and visual effects to enhance the video’s impact

• Selecting appropriate music and background sound effects to enhance the video

• Collaborating with creative professionals to ensure every video meets our Client’s needs

• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in video editing

• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and stay within budget

• Always collaborative and following instructions, assisting in other tasks as needed

• Always responsible, reliable, proficient, and efficient during work hours

• Review video footage and audio recordings to select the best takes for the project

• Assemble and organize raw video footage and audio recordings into a cohesive narrative

• Use video and audio editing software to enhance the quality of the footage

• Create titles, transitions, and special effects to enhance the visual appeal of the video

• Utilize color correction and color grading to improve the overall aesthetic of the footage

• Adjust the timing and pace of each video accordingly to achieve the desired effect

• Incorporate graphics, text, and other elements to enhance the video’s appeal

• Ensure that the video meets technical specifications and quality standards

• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure the final product meets their expectations

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support for the video

Qualifications:

• Must possess advanced oral and written American English skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Video Production/Editing or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in video editing and content creation for both English and Spanish

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)

• Able to learn how to use AI tools (Artificial Intelligence) to create content like InVideo and CapCut

• Passion for storytelling and the ability to develop engaging content for social media and other digital media platforms in both English and Spanish

• Familiarity with the latest trends in the industry to deliver flawless video editing

• If working remotely from home, must have all the necessary, qualified equipment to perform every task effectively and without interruption
